ICIL XV & DMMS XXIII

We are very sad to announce that we have decided to cancel ICIL 2021 due to the insufficient number of submissions. Our objective was to organize ICIL 2021 as an in-site event gathering ICIL community and not to turn it into an on-line event. Unfortunately, the pandemic made it impossible for the participants to declare their presence.

Scientists, experts and friends are cordially invited to submit their papers to the journal "Decision Making in Manufacturing and Services", so that we can share insights and research in the area of industrial engineering.

We hope we can meet soon!

ICIL Local Committee

A joint 15th International Conference on Industrial Logistics (ICIL XV) and the 23rd International Conference on Decision Making in Manufacturing and Services (DMMS XXIII) will take place in Zakopane, Poland, from September 21 to 25, 2021. The event will be hosted by the Faculty of Management, the AGH University of Science and Technology (Kraków, Poland) and by the International Centre for Innovation and Industrial Logistics (Brazil). The International Centre for Innovation and Industrial Logistics (ICIIL) is a non-profit professional association that has been developing an integrated view of Industrial Logistics, as well as sharing and exchanging ideas and research results among students, researchers, academics and industrialists. The ICIL conferences feature multidisciplinary programs that brings together experts from academia and industry to consider a broad range of logistics and supply chain management research and applications. The biannual ICIL conference is the main mean to attain these objectives worldwide, moving from France 1993 to Brazil 1995, USA 1997, Russia 1999, Japan 2001, Finland 2003, Uruguay 2005, Lithuania 2006, Israel 2008, again Brazil 2010, Croatia 2012 and 2014, Poland 2016 and again Israel 2018.

The DMMS XXIII Conference is a continuation of National Symposium "Applications of Systems Theory", organized 20 times since 1979 by the AGH University. DMMS XXI and DMMS XXII took place in Zakopane, Poland in 2017 and 2019, respectively. The DMMS XXI Conference in 2017 coincided with the 10th anniversary of the international journal Decision Making in Manufacturing and Services, published by AGH University Press since 2007. One of the major roles of the DMMS journal and conference is to provide a platform for bridging the gap between theory and implementation of decision-making in manufacturing and services and to promote original research results and contributions to such areas as treating the interface between decision sciences, information technology, management science and operations research.

The objective of the joint ICIL XV and DMMS XXIII Conference is to gather experts working in a broad range of industrial decision-making. The joint event will feature a multidisciplinary program that brings together researchers and practitioners from different countries. The current research trends on digital supply chains and Industry 4.0, supply chain cybersecurity, COVID-related supply chain disruption management and business analytics applications are expected to be significantly represented.

The Organizing and Scientific Committees gladly invite all potential participants to submit original research results and contributions that address full range of logistics and supply chain management as well as of manufacturing and service systems. All submissions will be reviewed and accepted contributions will be published in the Conference Proceedings indexed by Scopus (e.g., conference proceedings: ICIL2016, ICIL2018). In addition, special issues of DMMS, Applied Sciences, and other professional journals are under preparations.
